The Safe Pass Course Is Now Offered in Cavan

County Cavan Construction Personnel Can Now Pass the Safe Pass Programme

Residents of Cavan, Bailieborough, Ballyjamesduff, and elsewhere in County Cavan have easy access to our Safe Pass course. A one-day safety training course, it provides the basic knowledge for construction personnel to earn their FAS/Solas safe pass card. The course is designed to promote safety, work responsibilities, and covers various construction job-related subjects.

Even those on the northern border of Ireland cannot forget the importance of safety training. Regulations now require all construction workers to obtain training and pass the safe pass course.

Passing the test is done through a multiple choice assessment. An organizer conducts the test at the end of the Quick Safe Pass program.

Our course includes content on accident reporting and prevention, working at heights, and proper procedures during excavations and working in confined spaces. It also covers working with electricity and the safe use of portable equipment and tools. Use of protective equipment and safely driving vehicles is also included.

The FAS/Solas approved course aims to provide basic knowledge on construction site health and safety. Students learn how to avoid hazards and prevent accidents as well.

Designated locations for attending the one-day course and completing the assessment at the end are listed on this website.
